Each year, graduating editors are given 30 final column inches — “30” was historically used to signify the end of a story — to reflect on their time at The Hatchet, published in the final issues of the year. We need more people telling stories about people. I found a place full of them. The Hatchet is made up of people who believe journalism is, at its core, about paying attention. We believe in telling stories that connect, empower and reflect the GW and Foggy Bottom community back to itself.
