While all the bands at The Parish for the BMG showcase were impressive, two stood out to me: Pacific Avenue and Saint Blonde

Their songwriting, infused with a love for the 60s and 70s, creates a modern-day classic sound. With the release of their debut album Flowers in 2023, the band made a significant impact, earning the #1 spot for Australian albums and two ARIA nominations.
John Fogerty’s Electrifying Performance at SXSW 2025

John Fogerty graced the stage at Stubb’s Amphitheater under the stars, with perfect Texas weather adding to the already electric atmosphere. By the time I arrived, the venue was packed, fans spilling out onto the grounds, all eager to see the legend perform.

The evening began with an exclusive pre-party at the House of Blues in Anaheim, where the energy was electric, and the room buzzed with rock legends and industry insiders.
Vegas!
I've been to Las Vegas (thanks to working at COMDEX and CES) so many times that I've lost count -- it may be as many as eight times. In Short: Vegas is a gas. Imagine Sodom and Gommorah as concieved by a midwestern chamber of commerce and implemented by ex-Disney Imagineers fired for overusing neon. I always look forward to going back. Its street and casino environments are the perfect places to unwind and hang loose after six or eight long hours on the show floor . . .
