The roots of APN go back to November 2010 when Avaya's Chief Architect for Worldwide Public Safety Solutions, Mark Fletcher, was looking for a home for his new weekly Podcasts on E9-1-1 and Public Safety initiatives. A small, but dedicated, group of followers subscribed to the weekly content, and a year later, the Podcasts were expanded to weekly written blogs hosted on http://Avaya.com/Blogs. Robust UK has launched a newly designed security drop bar, which is easier to use and provides additional security for perimeter doors. The drop bar system secures the door leaf against the frame using bolted brackets to resist tampering and forced entry from the outside. Dual drop bar configurations are available for increased protection. The new design is more compact and slimmer for a sleeker look and eliminates the need for separate padlocks.
