What was your first job as a journalist?
I was a runner for ABC News in Beijing during Tiananmen Square

Sure; I'm old enough for that.
How is social media changing news?
It gives us a whole new network of sources. Much of the "news" in social media is inaccurate, but so is much of it from traditional media.

Why did you become a journalist?
It just sort of happened. I went to culinary school, then to college, got involved in the daily paper, one thing led to another and here I am

Yes, I was a reporter and features writer.
