Headscarves are the vibe right now. I see loss on my pillow every morning, and there has never been a more physical manifestation, for me, of letting go. I wake up and my hair is scattered all over the pillow I slept on. So I give it a shake. Gather them all on the floor.And remind myself to sweep them up and throw them out, at some point. Soon enough, I will be bald. I won’t lie, It was soul-crushing when it began a few weeks ago.

A non-exhaustive list of how otherwise progressive adults justify their hatred of children.
