A year-long Metropolitan Police investigation into an organised crime group suspected of handling millions of pounds worth of stolen goods has led to the arrest of a 34-year-old man and the recovery of more than £500,000 worth of suspected stolen property. Video footage -Met Police On Tuesday 7 July, Metropolitan Police officers executed a warrant at a warehouse in Romford after intelligence suggested stolen goods were being delivered to the site by courier.

Please Note- This incident is not related in any way to the festivals ongoing at the park Police are appealing for information after a man was slashed during an attack in Harrow Lodge Park, Hornchurch, on Saturday afternoon. Officers were called at 12.57pm on Saturday 11 July following reports of a stabbing in the park. Emergency services responded immediately and found a man in his 30s suffering from a slash wound to the abdomen.

A woman has been banned from entering parts of Harold Hill for five years after her behaviour led to more than 400 emergency service call-outs over a three-year period. Jane Reardon (15/07/1970), of Noak Hill, Romford, was issued with a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) at Snaresbrook Crown Court on Thursday 2 July, following a series of incidents involving persistent anti-social behaviour across Harold Hill.
