Nymex Overview: ULSD Down After Diesel Export Restriction Talk — OPIS Diesel contracts were lower around midday Wednesday after U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright said the Trump administration wouldn't outright ban exports of diesel but rather would implement restrictions. At 12:10 p.m. ET, the more-active November ULSD futures were down 9.15cts to $4.6710/gal and October ULSD was 9.45cts lower to $4.8475/gal.

Nymex Overview: Oil, Products Mixed After Trump's Iran Remarks — OPIS Crude and refined product contracts were a mixed bag by midday Tuesday, regaining their footing following three straight sessions of sharp pullbacks as the market was digesting President Trump's remarks about Iran. At 11:55 a.m. ET, more-active November NYMEX West Texas Intermediate crude futures were down about 65cts to $91.70/bbl and October WTI was up around 30cts to $96.05/bbl.

Nymex Overview: Oil Falls Sharply After Previous Day's Rally — OPIS Crude oil contracts fell more than $3 around midday Wednesday, largely giving back the previous day's significant gain, driven by wider threats on Middle East shipping routes and energy infrastructure. At 12:10 p.m. ET, more-active November Nymex WTI was down $3.30 to around $97.45/bbl and October WTI was $3.45 lower to $102.35/bbl.
