Reporter at Moray Firth Radio - reading the news, making calls, delivering scoops, upsetting the BBC.

What does it mean to be a journalist?

Never giving up.

What's the funniest news-related #hashtag you've seen?

Don'd know about funniest but when I saw #balloonboy I realised twitter had the power to change the world

How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?

Depends what it is. Personal touch is better. If it's a real scoop and you have access or pictures or content to offer then you'll know.

What tools and software do you use to do your job?

Avid, Inews, Twitter, Camera Plus, Iphone, notebook and pen

Twitter of course

Why did you become a journalist?

To cause trouble

Yes it was rubbish

As field producer during the Lebanon War alongside Kylie Morris our coverage of the Qana massacre.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Make a phone call. Nobody answers? Keep ringing until you find out what you need to know..
