Identification and validation of shared inflammatory transcriptomic signatures across multiple tissues in severe acute pancreatitis
Abstract Severe acute pancreatitis (SAP) is frequently accompanied by systemic inflammatory responses and multi-organ injury; however, the shared transcriptomic programs underlying its systemic progression remain incompletely defined. This study aimed to identify conserved inflammatory signatures across SAP-affected tissues using an integrative cross-tissue transcriptomic framework.
Serum FGL2 is correlated with the severity and psychological status of diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome
Abstract Background: Fibrinogen-like protein 2 (FGL2) is involved in immune-mediated inflammatory responses. However, its role in diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome (IBS-D) remains to be elucidated. This study investigated serum FGL2 levels in patients with IBS-D and examined their association with inflammatory cytokines, disease severity, and psychological status.
Extrachromosomal DNA in urothelial carcinoma: mechanisms and clinical applications
Abstract Extrachromosomal DNA (ecDNA) has emerged as a major driver of genomic instability and rapid tumour evolution in urothelial carcinoma. In urothelial carcinoma, ecDNA amplifies oncogenes, reshapes 3D chromatin interactions, reprogrammes transcription and modulates the tumour–immune interface. Together, these features fuel intratumour heterogeneity, accelerate APOBEC3-associated mutational evolution and contribute to aggressive disease.
Engineered Akkermansia muciniphila vesicles for targeted pyroptosis and trained immunity to enhance immunotherapy in hepatocellular carcinoma
Extraction of intestinal probiotic membrane vesicles A.muciniphila was cultured anaerobically at 37°C for 48 h in brain-heart infusion (BHI) medium supplemented with 0.5% mucin and 0.05% L-crystallites. After centrifugation, the cells were resuspended in anaerobic PBS and the concentration was determined by measuring the optical density at 600 nm. B. longum was cultured anaerobically at 37°C in BHI medium supplemented with 5 μg/mL chloroferrioxetin and 2.5 μg/mL vitamin K. L.

Multimodal fusion of radio-pathology and proteogenomics identify integrated glioma subtypes with prognostic and therapeutic opportunities - Nature Communications
Abstract Integrating multimodal data can uncover causal features hidden in single-modality analyses, offering a comprehensive understanding of disease complexity.
Lactate activates trained immunity by fueling the tricarboxylic acid cycle and regulating histone lactylation - Nature Communications
Abstract Trained immunity refers to the long-term memory of the innate immune cells. However, little is known about how environmental nutrient availability influences trained immunity. This study finds that physiologic carbon sources impact glucose contribution to the tricarboxylic acid (TCA) cycle and enhance cytokine production of trained monocytes.
Tumor aerobic glycolysis confers immune evasion through modulating sensitivity to T cell-mediated bystander killing via TNF-α

A Fluorescent Color Card for Point-of-care Testing (POCT) and Its Application in Simultaneous Detection
A Fluorescent Color Card for Point-of-care Testing (POCT) and Its Application in Simultaneous Detection Diabetes mellitus has been paid much attention because it complicates the liver, kidney, eye, heart, and cerebrovascular diseases. Thus, it exhibits a positive significance to develop a rapid and efficient method for glucose detection in biological samples.
Glow-type chemiluminescent hydrogels for point-of-care testing (POCT) of cholesterol
Glow-type chemiluminescent hydrogels for point-of-care testing (POCT) of cholesterol Cholesterol is an essential compound for human health, and high or low concentration of cholesterol is closely related to various diseases. Thus, developing a simple method for POCT of cholesterol has great significance in clinical diagnosis. In this work, glow-type chemiluminescence (CL) hydrogels was preparated and applied for rapid and quantitative cholesterol detection via a smartphone.
