1. Introduction With the rapid pace of urbanization, there has been a notable shift towards developing underground spaces as a strategic response to alleviating surface land constraints in urban areas. Excavation of foundation pits inevitably introduces additional stresses and deformations to surrounding structures, such as pile foundations and bridge piers, potentially compromising their integrity [1,2,3,4]. In severe cases, this can even lead to significant safety incidents.
