Epitope-resolved Epstein-Barr virus antibody mapping identifies disease-stratifying signatures in nasopharyngeal carcinoma
Abstract Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) infects most adults worldwide and usually persists without symptoms, yet in some individuals it is associated with malignancies such as nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). How antibody responses to specific regions of EBV proteins differ between healthy individuals and patients with NPC remains incompletely understood. Here we show that epitope-resolved profiling of EBV antibodies reveals serological patterns associated with NPC development and clinical outcomes.
Sleep quality among military personnel exposed to high altitude: a cross-sectional study of oxygen supplementation and altitude transition
Abstract Background: Sleep disturbances are common among military personnel stationed in high-altitude environments and may have important implications for health and operational functioning. This study aimed to investigate the effects of cumulative high-altitude exposure on sleep quality and to examine the roles of oxygen supplementation and frequency of returning to low-altitude areas.

Novel Anti-BNLF2b Antibody Screening and Early Detection of Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma Key Points Question Is BNLF2b gene–encoded putative protein (P85-Ab) testing more effective than Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) VCA-IgA/EBNA1-IgA antibody scoring and circulating EBV DNA for detecting nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC)?

Hierarchical dynamic model for risk-stratified screening of nasopharyngeal carcinoma
Abstract Early detection of nasopharyngeal carcinoma through Epstein-Barr virus serology is hampered by a low positive predictive value. This study aims to develop a hierarchical dynamic model to refine risk stratification among individuals initially identified as medium- or high-risk by Epstein-Barr virus serology. By integrating longitudinal Epstein-Barr virus antibody data with age, sex, and family history, the model is trained using data from the PRO-NPC-001 program.

Integrative Transcriptome‐Wide Association Study With Expression Quantitative Trait Loci Colocalization Identifies a Causal VAMP8 Variant for Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma Susceptibility
1 Introduction Nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC), a distinct type of head and neck malignancy originating from the nasopharyngeal epithelium, exhibits a unique geographical distribution pattern.[1] It is notably prevalent in Eastern and Southeast Asia, where its incidence rates range between 25 and 50 per 100 000 individuals, markedly higher than those observed in western countries.[2] Familial clustering of NPC across diverse populations points to a genetic predisposition to the disease.[3]...
