Sensitivity-enhanced optical pressure sensor based on MoS2
Abstract A sensitivity-enhanced optical pressure sensor based on molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) is proposed. The sensing principle is that the pressure causes the deformation of the polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) pressure structure above the MoS2 film, leading to the change of the ambient refractive index, so that a measurable light propagation difference in the waveguide under the film is created to reflect the micro changes of the pressure.
Ultrafine Phosphorus-Doped Rhodium for Enhanced Hydrogen Electrocatalysis in Alkaline Electrolyte
Ultrafine Phosphorus-Doped Rhodium for Enhanced Hydrogen Electrocatalysis in Alkaline Electrolyte Herein, we report the synthesis of ultrafine P-doped Rh catalyst and its outstanding HER/HOR performance in alkaline electrolytes.
Enhanced HOR catalytic activity of PGM-free catalysts in alkaline media: electronic effect induced by different heteroatoms doped carbon supports
Enhanced HOR catalytic activity of PGM-free catalysts in alkaline media: electronic effect induced by different heteroatoms doped carbon supports A series of Ni-based catalysts consisted with Ni nanoparticles and heteroatoms (S, N, or B) doped carbon supports were constructed systematically, and further investigated to catalyze hydrogen oxidation reaction (HOR) in alkaline electrolytes. The activity trend was seeked that follows the sequence of Ni/SC > Ni/NC > Ni/BC.
Construction of hierarchical NiFe layered double hydroxide with 3D mesoporous structure as advanced electrocatalyst for water oxidation
The exploitation of highly active, cost-effective, and stable electrocatalysts toward oxygen evolution reaction (OER) is essential for the development of various energy conversion and storage systems, such as water splitting and metal-air batteries.
Transcriptomic analysis of chicken Myozenin 3 regulation reveals its potential role in cell proliferation
Embryonic muscle development and fibre type differentiation has always been a topic of great importance due to its impact on both human health and farm animal financial values. Myozenin3 (Myoz3) is an important candidate gene that may regulate these processes. In the current study, we knocked down and overexpressed Myoz3 in chicken embryonic fibroblasts (CEFs) and chicken myoblasts, then utilized RNA-seq technology to screen genes, pathways and biological processes associated with Myoz3.

A cobalt-based hybrid electrocatalyst derived from carbon nanotube inserted metal-organic framework for efficient water-splitting
Design of high-efficiency non-precious electrocatalysts for hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) and oxygen evolution reaction (OER) is extremely important for developing sustainable energy technologies. Herein, we report a metal-organic framework (MOF) template carbonization route to prepare Co-based hybrid electrocatalyst with superior performance for both HER and OER in alkaline solution.
