Is Ryan good or is Benn not world level.
I don’t know how to feel about this fight for one main reason and that being Benn’s strategy. He just kind of bum rushed a guy with a devastating hook with his hands not in good position. now of course Ryan is so fast that even if he was to have his hand glued to his right temple he would probably still get caught a decent amount. Ryan has obviously developed his right hand a lot more and we saw that in his previous fight and this is what dropped Benn here.

ComplaintsBoard As a streetwear enthusiast, I recently had the pleasure of exploring BSTN, and I must say, it was a unique experience. From the moment I landed on their website, I was impressed by the wide range of hard-to-find streetwear fashion from top international labels like Nike, Jordan, Adidas, and more. The selection of tees, pants, hoodies, sweatshirts, backpacks, and sneakers was truly impressive. What stood out the most was the exceptional customer service provided by BSTN.

Collectors, how do you deal with fragrance expiration?
I've had the top notes on my Tiffany for Men change slightly, but it is the same scent after 15 minutes. We had one poster here about 10 years ago, relating how he found his dad's scents which had been sitting under a kitchen sink in Colorado for over 30 years - all were fine. The only scent I've ever had go off was a 25 year old bottle of Faberge Macho - but it was a splash bottle.
Most disturbing video review of a cologne
What's disturbing to me is how every reviewer on YouTube, young or old, creepy or sane, is full-on bonkers in love with L'Homme. Really? Really? Am I missing something? How can anyone get worked up one way or the other about L'Homme? It's like beige wallpaper, or a daisy in a vase. Haven't these guys heard of Kouros, or M7, or even Opium? The Official Creed Green Irish Tweed thread!
Guys, can you help me determine if my GIT is authentic? I got it from an ebay seller from Xilinhot, Mongolia for $3.50 including shipping. It didn't come with a box or a bottle, the frag was just in a plastic bag from Target tied shut with a rubber band. The lot number written on the bag is "4," what year would that have been? Also, the bag has started leaking, has anyone had this happen before? Should I order another bag of GIT from the seller? Should I switch to Virgin Island Water?

An Ode to Jed Lowrie
A while back, around the start of the 2021 MLB season, I wrote an article about one Mr. Jed Lowrie, who the A's had just signed for his 3rd tour of the A's, a tour that has now reached it's end. That end, a rather unceremonious DFA, was, in all honesty, well deserved. A .180/.245/.263 with a WRC+ of 49 (100 is league average, for reference) is not very good, to say the least.

A Brief 2022 Oakland A's Season Preview
Last time, I made a review of the 2021 Oakland A's, which you may or may not have seen. Surprisingly enough, I was more correct than I usually am about what the A's would do (though given what they did, that isn't a good thing). Either way, I won't go into too much detail about what they did, because if you are an A's fan, you know. As such, I will list the A's 28-man roster below, and make my predictions for how they do and how different they might look by the end of the season.
Would Brook-Khan have been different had they fought say 8 or 10 years ago?
Boxing News 24 Forum Forums > Boxing > World Boxing Forum > Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by Mod-Mania, Feb 22, 2022 at 11:23 AM. I personally think Brooks would still have won. Khan probably gets knocked out even earlier. Yeah, Brook's timing was kinda off.. It could have been another Khan highlight reel getting KO'd entry. Nah. Brooks more rounded as a boxer and the bigger and stronger of the two.
Would a prime Ali have knocked out Gassiev?
Probably not but we don't have the data yet. He is iron-chinned at cruiser. Gassiev is 28 wars old, crawling back into the game with fights against mid-level heavies like Wallisch and Rudenko, and building in a career as unified cruiserweight champ. When Joshua, Usyk, Fury and Wilder are gone in 2-3 years, he will be entering his second prime. He could very well be remembered as a technically limited but immensely talented near great or minor great like Norton, if he makes good.
Why is Olympic Medalist Achievement Unlock Thought Of So's Highly?

My guess is Joshua rematch, a mando, maybe Helenius for the WBA, Fury, and another mando--Parker or Joyce for the WBO. After that, some sort of swan song, and then retirement. vast Obsessed with Boxing I wouldn't be surprised that if he gets by Joshua, then fights Fury, he might call it a day, win or lose. oldcanvasback and catchwtboxing like this.
AJ speaks and lets rip
He just sounds really confused, in one breath he is saying he has different styles and don't need to learn any more and just needs to be more of the "old AJ", somewhat more aggressive and straight forward.. but concedes he can't just go in there swinging.. And in the next breath he is saying he needs to go around different gyms and learn from different trainers. A huge thing for me was when he revealed what he said/asked Clifton Mitchell..
Fury v Wilder 3 : The fight "nobody wanted to see"
Boxing News 24 Forum Forums > Boxing > World Boxing Forum > Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by Unforgiven, Oct 14, 2021. Seems to have provoked quite a lot of comment. The fight nobody wanted. Pointless. No intetest whatsoever. Foregone conclusion. .... and yet, on the eve of the fight I even saw a lot of people here picking Wilder to win. The fight was absolutely panned for a year or more, no one wanted it, they resented it being made.
Wilder vs Duhaupas - How did this guy survive 11 rounds against Wilder power punches?
Boxing News 24 Forum Forums > Boxing > World Boxing Forum > Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by REKX_, Oct 19, 2021 at 4:41 PM. I saw the highlights of this fight (the ending) but never the whole fight until now. I couldn't believe what I was watching. The shots that other boxers try to avoid the whole match, he was taking from the first round to the 11th. The same punches which knocked out fighters like Brezeale and Ortiz cold, and knocked down Fury several times during their trilogy.
Fury's Power
Boxing News 24 Forum Forums > Boxing > World Boxing Forum > Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by iamtheman, Oct 9, 2021 at 10:48 PM. What kind of power does he have? Seems to me it's not so much raw speed power as it is sheer heaviness and strength. Look at how Wilder falls when he gets hit. It's like a wrecking ball hit him. So forceful his legs flew out from beneath him. There's a walloping brute force there that practically sends opponents flying. It just looks devastating.
Wilder needs to retire.

A Brief 2021 Oakland A's Season Overview & What Comes Next

I was wrong about Joshua
Call me crazy, but I still favor Joshua in a possible (if it ever happens now) Fury fight. I think Fury, like Joshua and Wilder before, is massively overrated himself. He has a thin resume, and does very well against certain styles and fighters, but then looks like shirt against others that shouldn't be near him because of the size disparity. Plus, his biggest win is still a stinker with an asterisk, and we still have to see him defend a belt once.
Joshua/Wilder still does more $$ than Fury/Usyk
Boxing News 24 Forum Forums > Boxing > World Boxing Forum > Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by Lesion of Doom, Sep 25, 2021 at 9:59 PM. In case anyone needed reminding that boxing is entertainment, the losers of the "semifinal" absolutely would make more money than the winners. It's not merit, it's commercial. And Joshua/Wilder is still the most commercial fight in the HW division. It's a shame they didn't fight when they were both on top, but now it's too late.
How the A's can fix their bullpen on the cheap - An Explanation
As of June 2021, the Oakland A's are a good baseball team. Even just by looking at the statistics, it's objectively true. However, as with any team, they aren't perfect by any stretch of the imagination. One of the most obvious things that can be upgraded is the bullpen, which has depth, but lacks a high-end closer and that depth isn't of high quality.
And just another proof how underrated wilder is. So Ruiz

My take on Joseph Parker
As a fellow countrymen and long time follower of Parker's rise to boxing fame, I feel like I want to share some thoughts on where this man is currently as a boxer. In my honest opinion I feel Parker is blessed with a decent physique. He has good height, powerful Polynesian legs, and speed in both hands. I feel he is very coordinated , and this alone has helped make up for deficiencies elsewhere.
Is Zombie Jed Lowrie for real?
In 2021, against all odds, Jed Lowrie is playing for the A's, his third tour with them. He has played in the majors for over a decade, survived countless injuries, and is still playing at the age of 36 (37 on April 17th).
Mike F*****g Tyson
Mike Tyson was/is a ****ing genius, genius always comes with fragility and flaws. Mike rarely gets recognition or sympathy for this because of the tough persona he projects. I believe he has some form of autism or Aspergers. His run of wins was nothing short of one-off genius. Cus D'Amato was a well established genius too, it's no accident that he clicked with Mike. So many idiots proclaim Mike simply got found out later on in his career. It' s just nonsense.
Tyson v Jones
Does anyone know if this fight is actually for real? I initially read it was an exhibition and there was a no knockout clause, casuals are all hyped up for it as expected but also some boxing people are talking about it as if it is a proper fight so now I'm confused.

Fury is now looking like a candidate for GOAT.
A couple of more and he will get up there in the top five. I am starting to repeat my own posts tonight, but, to add to what you are saying, he beat the top two rivals of his era (now that Joshua blew it). That is actually more than almost any great champ manages except Ali and Lewis. I know I am going to offend a few here, but it is not my intention. There are many reasons champs do not fight, or lose to their rivals. No offense to anyone, but...
