Introduction and aims: of study: To present a case report of preterm delivery of a seriously ill patient at 29th week of pregnancy and to review bibliography. Methods/case presentation: A pregnant woman, 33y, at 28 weeks admitted to the hospital with fever, cough and diarrhea. RT-PCR for SARS-CoV2 was positive. Women with abnormal cervical smears undergo colposcopy as part of a diagnostic and treatment pathway. Unfortunately colposcopic impression, is not perfect. The addition of colposcopically directed biopsies does not necessarily improve diagnostic accuracy.
Introduction: During the last decades many countries have established national screening programs that include co-testing (HPV DNA and cytology). The addition of HPV testing to cytology resulted in an increased detection of CIN3+, permitting a longer interval between screens. In Greece there are not specific guidelines and cervical screening is based mostly on cytology.
