Gage Goulding’s Biography

Gage Goulding is an award-winning journalist whose reporting has spanned breaking news, investigative journalism and major natural disasters around the world.

Goulding is a International Correspondent with CNN based in Seoul, South Korea where he's responsible for reporting on key stories in South Korea and across the Asia Pacific region for CNN’s linear and digital platforms.

Prior to that, he was a reporter at KPRC in Houston, Texas, where he covered some of the state's biggest stories, including high-profile criminal investigations, natural disasters and breaking news. His reporting also spanned transportation, consumer issues and enterprise stories of national interest.

In 2025, he was honored with the Texas Broadcast News Award for Best News Reporter. His work also earned multiple Regional Emmy Awards, including honors for his coverage of the shooting at Lakewood Church and Houston's devastating 2024 derecho. Throughout his career, Goulding has covered eight tropical systems, including reporting from aboard a U.S. Air Force Hurricane Hunter aircraft during Hurricane Helene.

Before Houston, Goulding was a reporter at WBBH/WZVN in Fort Myers, Florida, where he covered Hurricane Ian and its aftermath. His reporting during the storm contributed to a Regional Edward R. Murrow Award and a Suncoast Regional Emmy Award. Earlier in his career, he was an anchor and reporter at WTOV in Steubenville, Ohio, and a digital content producer at KDKA in Pittsburgh.

A native of Ligonier, Pennsylvania, Goulding graduated from Robert Morris University, where he earned a student Mid-Atlantic Emmy Award for his work in college journalism.
