Garbanzo Negro

Took some more shots. Some current thoughts/observations: - Really like the blue shade of the dial. The text on the dial is subtle, not too many lines or big font. They found the right balance. - Domed crystal makes the dial easy to read. There is no (obvious) distortion or reflection, a worry that some had with the prototype. - Rotor can be a bit noisy with sudden motions, but nothing too crazy. Accuracy is being tested. - Case has a nice finish and like how the lugs curve & taper.

So while innocently fondling my Exp. I noticed a near imperceptible chip in the sapphire around the 11 o’clock. It’s very tiny, but definitely there. My question, how many of you are ok with and tolerate tiny chips in the sapphire? Is this an auto send back for some of you or do you keep it until general service or a more significant ding? #1 · Dear watch lovers, I'm looking for a specific 1970's Submariner 1680 red (w date), which can be identified by three initials engraved on the backside of one of the four strap attaching portions (aka fitting portions) on the watch it self, so please let me know of any info which can lead to that watch. I will be rewarded generously. Generally, does anyone know how many 1680 red there exist in the world? I will spend the rest of my life searching for it, so it is quite nice too know.
