One unlikely culprit to burnout? Your lack of laziness
Are you tired of being tired? If this question resonates with you, it’s not your imagination. The workforce is working harder and for longer hours than the decades before. Since 1979, American workers’ net productivity grew by 72.2%, even though hourly pay only increased by 17.2%—meaning that although productivity has increased, workers aren’t taking home the benefits of that increased productivity.

Keeping Up with Changes in Florida’s Growing Private Flood Market
Flooding is America’s number one natural disaster and as the highest “at risk” state in the country, Florida is the epicenter for all things flood insurance. Since 1968, when procuring flood insurance, agents and homeowners have had virtually one option: FEMA’s National Flood Insurance Program. As of 2018, the NFIP had over 5 million policies in force nationwide with nearly 1.75 million policies coming from Florida.
Viewpoint: How the Northeastern U.S. Private Flood Market Can Close the Coverage Gap
The northeastern U.S. is one of the key areas of the country at risk for flooding, as evidenced by the billions in losses from Superstorm Sandy, which saw more than $8.1 billion in 144,000 NFIP (National Flood Insurance Program) claims. When procuring flood insurance, agents and homeowners have had virtually one option since 1968: The Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) National Flood Insurance Program.

'Wendy,' a reimagining of 'Peter Pan,' takes flight without pixie dust

(Photo: Courtesy of Fox Searchlight Pictures) Benh Zeitlin's reimagining of J.M. Barrie's "Peter Pan" lets its heroine tell the classic story through a poetic and nostalgic lens. At times a grim glimpse at the reality of fleeting youth, Zeitlin's film is a beautiful departure from the tenants of Barrie's original bedtime story and Disney's commodified cartoon.

‘Like a Boss’ draws on recycled laughs to tell female buddy story
