We report here the preparation of amidophosphine-supported gallium(I) compounds that exhibit equilibria between monomeric gallylene and dimeric digallene (Ga=Ga) states.

The metal-catalyzed intermolecular C–H borylation of arenes is an extremely powerful C–H functionalization methodology. However, to date it is effectively restricted to forming organo-boronate esters (Aryl–B(OR)2) with its application to form other organoboranes rarely explored.

A [CuII24] truncated octahedron and its [CuII8] building block Reaction of CuCl2·2H2O with p-tert-butylthiacalix[4]arene (H4TC[4]A) affords a [CuII24] cage whose metallic skeleton conforms to a truncated octahedron in which the metal ions are strongly antiferromagnetically coupled.
