1 Introduction Long Covid (LC) is defined as persistent COVID-19 symptoms more than 4 weeks after acute infection and is a growing global problem [1]. Commonly reported symptoms can adversely affect day-to-day activities significantly [2] and include fatigue, cognitive dysfunction, shortness of breath, pain and mood problems [3, 4]. LC also impacts economic, social and caring activities [5]. LC affects around 200 million people worldwide [6], including almost 2 million in the United Kingdom [3].
