SymExplainer: An Integrated Framework for Interpretable ERC Violation Detection in Smart Contracts
Submitted: 22 December 2025 You are already at the latest version The immutable nature of smart contracts necessitates rigorous auditing, especially for ERC compliance, to prevent significant economic losses. While automated tools, particularly those combining Large Language Models (LLMs) with symbolic execution, have improved detection, they often suffer from false positives, false negatives, and insufficient interpretability.
Travel Tale: A Visit to Australia
By GAVIN ALEXANDER | Junior Reporter My favorite place I have traveled to has to be Australia. Over winter break I went to Australia with my parents. The trip was incredible. On our trip, we explored Sydney and Melbourne, and also spent time on both the Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast. This trip was one of the best trips I have ever been on and I have been on many, as my family loves to travel! Australia is a very beautiful place. Our winter is their summer so the weather was incredible.
The Scoop Behind Frozen Fruit Co
By GAVIN ALEXANDER | Junior Reporter From a very young age I’ve been interested in business. I love learning the stories behind the products I personally enjoy. I’m a big fan of Frozen Fruit Co on Montana Avenue in Santa Monica, so I wanted to learn more about Co-Founders Michael and Victoria Philippou. What inspired you and Victoria to transition from being lawyers to creating plant-based ice cream? During the 2008 recession, the law firm Michael was working for in the UK sent him to get his MBA.

Q&A: Jason Widener of Erewhon
By GAVIN ALEXANDER | Junior Reporter I sat down and spoke with Jason Widener, VP of Erewhon. I had a number of questions prepared for Jason, as I was eager to learn more about Erewhon and what we had to look forward to with their arrival in the Palisades. Why is Erewhon called Erewhon? The name Erewhon comes from a book written by Samuel L. Butler about a utopian society. The owner of Erewhon at the time, Kushi, loved the book. 2. What happens to expired groceries?

The Next Chapter
Over the past four years, Rick Caruso has been great to me and I’ve loved getting to know him and learning from him. From interviews in his office at The Grove to the groundbreaking ceremony where I was honored to introduce him, to touring the site a number of times during the construction of Palisades Village, he’s given me a behind-the-scenes look and answered my many questions.
Cool Caruso Unveiling
I went to the Palisades Village update at the Jonathan Club. The event was really cool. There was a 3-D model of the village and it looks incredible. In addition to the stores and restaurants, there are apartments with a private elevator and gym. They look very nice. I asked Rick Caruso about the added traffic and how he and his team were going to make sure people walking would remain safe. Rick told me that there will be an elevated crosswalk that will serve as a speed bump to slow down traffic.
The Centenary Copa: Last Best Chance for Messi?
The Centenary Copa: Last Best Chance for Messi? (in The US of A) Many of us love Messi. And many of us would love to see him win a major tournament with Argentina especially after the disappointments of the past. Not only would it be a fantastic spectacle but it would alleviate a criticism of Messi argued by some people. The criticism that he cannot be considered a true great until a major international trophy is won.

Kid’s Page Special
On Thursday, June 15, I met up with Rick Caruso and got to walk the Palisades Village construction site. I was so mesmerized by the construction site because of how big it was. I was really surprised about how deep the parking garage is—it is three stories deep. After the tour of the site, we sat down in their project offices located in the old P2 skate shop and I asked him several questions. I also found out some exclusive information—read below to find out.
