The Laois senior footballers have been drawn to face London away from in Round 2A of the Tailteann Cup. Laois progressed into Round 2A (the winners' round) thanks to a seven-point win over Wicklow in Portlaoise on Sunday afternoon. Laois dominated the first half with the wind behind them as they led 1-15 to 0-6 at half-time and never looked back. Wicklow couldn't get enough momentum to eat into Laois' lead and Justin McNulty's side were at least seven points ahead from the 19th minute onwards.
