We’re not just here to recognize our accomplishments; we’re also here to remember someone who should be standing with us; our friend, Ethan. Some of you might not have had the pleasure to know Ethan but, tonight he would have been graduating with us. Everyone here knows that he is here in spirit with us. Whether that be his family, his friends, classmates, or anyone else that is here with.

Youngstown State senior offensive lineman Gavin Wiggins was named the MVFC Offensive Lineman of the Week for his performance against UNI this past Saturday. Wiggins made his first career start at left tackle in the Penguins' impressive 31-10 win over UNI last Saturday at Stambaugh Stadium. It was Senior Day for Wiggins who was starting for the 41st consecutive time on the offensive line in his career.

We report results from a multiscale computational modeling study of biomass fast pyrolysis in an experimental laboratory reactor that combined the hydrodynamics predicted by a two-fluid model (TFM) with predictions from a finite element method (FEM) simulation of heat and mass transfer and chemical reactions within biomass particles. The experimental pyrolyzer consisted of a 2 in. (5.1 cm) diameter bubbling fluidized bed reactor (FBR) fed with milled pine pellets.
