Preserve Old Rock Road
For the past 25 years the Camden/Rockport Pathways Committee has worked to formalize a path connecting Limerock St, in Rockport, passing behind the YMCA and Midcoast Solid Waste, to Linden Lane in Camden. This route, called old Rock Road, uses an historic quarrying road. We have long advocated for a path on this route by including it in Master Plans, through presentations to groups, the towns, and working with landowners.
Defunding SNAP
The government defunding SNAP was my motivation to give again this week to the local food pantry. In the past, whenever I made a contribution, I felt good contributing — helping. But as I write my check today, I feel — different. It feels like people are being asked to fill a financial gap created so that those living a more comfortable life can receive a tax break (whether you support those budget cuts or not). And that feels wrong.
I respectfully disagree with Mr. Barnhart..
I respectfully disagree with a recent letter and the assessment of NPR/PBS’s role in public life, and that they offer “nothing unique.” I submit the letter misses the fact by citing “Internet, cable, cell and streaming” are all valid sources of information, omitting that they are for-profit enterprises and do not pride themselves, as NPR/PBS does (which they occasionally fail at), in examination of both sides of an issue and demanding listeners/viewers decide what they think of the issue...
I suggest you find Elissa Slotkin's 'maiden speech'
I was moved by her description of Michigan, and how we came to be one of the most innovative and crucial components of American life. Yes, she is a Democrat, but her view of the USA, from National Security, to the threats facing our nation and the possible repairs to our society that are needed are non-partisan.
Medicaid is not just for the 'poor'
Popular wisdom (at least those in the Conservative sector) is that Medicaid is a “poor people who don’t want to work” benefit. While somewhat true, let’s look at those “poor people.” While true that those who choose not to contribute to society are covered, that amount is quite small, and has been since the late 90s-early 2000s.
When will you stand up?
So, a man who pays Social Security tax on only the first $170k of income has decided Social Security is a “Ponzi scheme.” In my mind the “Ponzi scheme” is that a billionaire only pays SS tax on the first $170k of income. While, technically, SS can be described as a scheme, once your body/mind reaches a certain age, it is time to reap the benefit of all those years you have paid in. No one needs reminding that a 401k can be halved overnight.
Mentir en un currículum es común. He aquí por qué no funcionará.

Email - Import Contacts | Feature Requests | ClickUp
I’m sorry, but this is getting ridiculous how long this has taken to go nowhere. This has been going on for almost 2 years now at this point, and just saying it’s a limitation of your email provider and leaving it at that is not a sufficient resolution. This is still a ClickUp problem, your partners' problems are your own, and this shouldn’t be a feature request, it is a bug.
