1 INTRODUCTION Recently, there has been a growing interest in the application of mobile robots for various outdoor tasks. In autonomous navigation, accurate localization is being emphasized as a key requirement for real-world applications, such as construction (Nubert et al., 2022), delivery (Lee et al., 2022), and agriculture (Aguiar et al., 2020). The localization module operates at the forefront of the robot system, influencing subsequent modules, such as path planning and motion control.
