Clinical officers in Siaya County have called off their 21-day strike after signing a return-to-work formula with the county government, clearing the way for the resumption of health services in public facilities. The agreement follows talks between leaders of the Kenya Union of Clinical Officers (KUCO) and Siaya County Executive, led by the County Secretary Elizabeth Adongo. Under the new Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), implementation is set to begin next month.
