Riedel Communications has expanded its collaboration with Skaarhoj, adding official Skaarhoj panel support to SimplyLive production workflows. The integration, enabled by the SimplyLive 2.1 release, adds a hardware switcher panel option alongside SimplyLive’s existing touchscreen interface and RCU-based workflows. The integration responds to customer demand for dedicated hardware control in live production environments where operators want the speed and familiarity of a switcher panel.

The Media Tech Sustainability Summit 2026 will take place online on Wednesday 24 June, with a programme focused on sustainability issues across media technology, production, streaming, post-production and infrastructure, including a dedicated session on building more sustainable sports productions. The event, now in its fourth edition, will include an opening keynote, four workshop sessions and a closing keynote. Sessions are scheduled between 1500 and 2000 CET.
