Growing property values have accounted for two-thirds of wealth generation in Ireland over the past decade, according to wealth management and financial advisory Fordel's second annual Wealth of Nations report. The study shows that Irish wealth increased by 9.4% or €120bn to €1.4tn in 2025, with property accounting for €973bn and cash deposits €194bn. Since 2015, property prices have risen in Ireland by around 55%, adding €527bn to household wealth over the last 10 years.
