Born in San Fransico and raised in the foothills of northern California, my interest in journalism has been in me since first remembering listening to radio news stations in the back of my parents' car.
It was not till college that my interest became a job. I joined Chico State's college newspaper, the Orion, during my sophomore year. At the Orion, I did a bit of everything from reporting to photography to editing. I was lucky enough to intern at the Hollywood Reporter and even had a few articles published there.
After college, I decided to make journalism my profession. I have written for publications like Benicia Herald and Daily Courier, which have taught me to work hard, be kind and always be open to learning something new.
