Ryde finally secured a British Superbike win that had been evading him as he came out on top in Race Three during the fourth round of the 2026 season. Prior to Sunday, Ryde had never finished on the top step of the BSB podium at Snetterton Circuit. After coming third in both Race One and Two, he finally snagged his win in the final race of the weekend. The Jacksdale rider now has eight wins in the bag this season and he is still yet to finish any worse than third place across the 12 races so far.

The former midfielder helped the Lionesses record what was then their best ever World Cup result, with a statement victory over two-time champions Germany. Potter, of Mansfield Woodhouse, was a key figure throughout the 2015 tournament in Canada and played her part in the successful bronze medal match outcome. The Lionesses beat Germany 1-0 thanks to a Fara Williams penalty, making them the second most successful England side after the famous 1966 Men's World Cup triumph.
