1 Introduction For replacement of single failing teeth in the maxillary aesthetic zone, immediate implants are often recommended (Donker, Raghoebar, et al. 2024), but the site may be unsuitable for immediate placement following tooth extraction. Such sites typically present with large bone defects, significant mucosal recession, or extensive infection (Cardaropoli et al. 2025).

When combined with immediate provisionalization, it offers several advantages, including reduced treatment duration, fewer surgical interventions, and direct rehabilitation of oral function and aesthetics.
