1 Introduction Trauma to the brain can severely impair motor function to perform activities of daily living (Colantonio et al., 2004). For affected individuals, rehabilitation of hand function, especially reaching and grasping, is critical for environmental access (Chaabani et al., 2014). Physical therapy is a primary option to rehabilitate hand function; however, traditional therapy involves intensive and repetitive movement training (Connell et al., 2018).

1. Introduction In 2020, the European Road Safety Observatory reported that 18,800 people were killed (and more than 500,000 injured) in road accidents in the European Union; maneuvers performed when approaching an intersection account for 19% of road fatalities, or 3,570 deaths. The factors associated with road accidents at intersections have been identified in the literature.
