‘I Beat You Guys’: Davido Teases Wike Over Adeleke’s Osun Victory (Video)

In the 16-second clip, Davido was seen accompanying his uncle,  Governor Ademola Adeleke, to Wike’s residence in Abuja after the governor’s meeting with President Bola Tinubu. Addressing Wike, Davido jokingly reminded him of the election result, saying, “But I won. I beat you guys.” Wike, who appeared to take the comment in good spirits, responded jokingly that he would collect Adeleke’s Certificate of Return.

Adeleke Visits Wike, Presents Certificate Of Return After Tinubu Meeting

The visit came shortly after Adeleke met with President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had presented the Certificate of Return to Adeleke on Wednesday, formally recognising him as the winner of the August 15 governorship election. Adeleke secured 511,067 votes to defeat the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, who polled 444,815 votes.
