Gilbert Nakweya’s Biography

With a Degree in Communication Studies and Journalism and a Masters’ Degree in Development Communication Studies from the University of Nairobi, a Certificate in Solutions Science Journalism from Rhodes University, South Africa, and experience working in local and international media, he is an accomplished science journalist and a communications specialist. He majorly delves into communicating for development, editing, research, planning and writing about science and higher education globally but with a bias toward the developing world. Through travelling, he has covered extensively matters of science, health, agriculture, gender, innovations, technology and higher education in Cameroun, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia.
