Acting as the current president, McCabe serves as a board member for The Cincinnati Pro Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists. As an adjunct professor from 2011-2019, Ginny has taught Journalism and Public Relations, Newspaper and Introduction to Communications to undergraduate students at Cincinnati Christian University. Ginny is a longtime media volunteer for the National Religious Broadcasters annual convention. She is also committed to mentoring other journalists and writers as well as the nation's youth. She has been honored with a number of awards and accolades for her work, including SPJ journalism awards at the local and state levels in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020.
