Fall is practically synonymous with chilly, picture-perfect weather. It’s hard not to imagine crisp piles of leaves, cozy knit sweaters, and steaming mugs of coffee the moment October rolls around. However, for those living on the coast and other sun-soaked areas, the idyllic fall we imagine never quite makes it past Pinterest boards. We get it—when the PSL’s are iced and the air conditioning is blasting, it’s hard to even think about diving into your fall wardrobe.

Streetwear is a dizzyingly saturated industry. The endless rotation of trends, drops, and new brands is overwhelming — it can be all too easy to stick within your comfort zone. Despite the ever-growing roster of young brands, streetwear empires like Supreme still dictate the industry’s trend cycle — and, for outsiders, are practically synonymous with streetwear itself.

Over the last year of on-and-off quarantine and working from home, cozy sweatsuits became a second skin for many. But as we creep towards the first post-pandemic (sort of) fall, our layering skills are seriously rusty.
