Try Pat Perez's simple test to see if you can spot the line of the putt
Everyone putts poorly at times, including me. Check this out: In 2016, I missed 32 of 70 attempts from four to eight feet. That got my attention. I wasn't giving any thought to how I wanted to approach my putting, and that had to change. I started by putting down chalk lines on a green, and what I found was, my eye line at address was way off. What my eyes saw as a straight line to the hole turned out to be well right of it. For a 15-foot putt, it was off by as much as a foot or more.
Lydia Ko's go-to tee shot
Everyone needs a tee shot they can rely on. It's not necessarily the longest drive, it's the one you're sure you can put in the fairway when you can't afford to be in the rough. I had one of those situations last year on the first hole of a sudden-death playoff with Minjee Lee at the LPGA Mediheal Championship. -- with E. Michael Johnson The 18th at Lake Merced in San Francisco is a par 5, so the odds were pretty good I would need a birdie or I'd lose.

What you can learn from a long-drive champ
As a former world long-drive champion, I often hear from regular golfers that they'll never come close to being able to swing like me. Not true. You can. If you copy even a little of my technique, the ball is going to come off the face of your driver hotter than ever. Try these things the next time you're on the range. By Justin James —with Ron Kaspriske CHEAT THE SCALE If you just stood on a scale, it would give you your body weight. But if you push down, that number will go up.

Jon Rahm: Low Scores Start With Maxing Out Your Drives
There might be some par 4s where it makes sense to tee off with a 3-wood or an iron, but it's rare to see me using anything but driver. I'm more comfortable with it. When it comes to scoring, I'd rather hit it as far down the fairway as I can and have a wedge in my hands for the next shot—even from the rough—versus a middle iron from the fairway. My strategy seems to work. I'm second on the PGA Tour in birdie average (4.5 per round) and third in strokes gained/off the tee.
At The Intersection Of Skater Culture And Golf
At The Intersection Of Skater Culture And Golf When Golf Digest heard that several of pro skateboarding's biggest stars were also keen golfers, we thought it'd be fun to organize a mash-up. These aren’t some hooligans who hopped a fence. The man in the air is none other than Eric Koston, 11-time X Games gold medalist and, at age 42, Tiger Woods’ closest peer among fellow Nike-sponsored athletes.
Lovestruck: The Golf Course Is A Wonderful Arena For Love To Spark
In P.G. Wodehouse's short story "The Clicking of Cuthbert," the protagonist meets Adeline Smethurst of the Wood Hills Literary and Debating Society—a rival organization to the local golf club—and is instantly smitten. This has a salutary effect on Cuthbert's golf: "Twenty minutes after he had met Adeline, he did the short eleventh in one." But love has two edges. There is no rose without thorns.
