DC Studios brings Supergirl to cinemas this week, expanding the new on-screen universe spearheaded by James Gunn and Peter Safran. Following closely behind the surprisingly strong Superman, this cosmic entry leaves Earth behind to follow Kara Zor-El on a space-faring rescue mission to save her dog, Krypto. Rather than a standard superhero origin, the plot kicks off with Kara on a purposeful pub crawl.

Giant Dungeons & Dragons London expo pulled from 2026 calendar

Wizards of the Coast and event promoter AEG Presents have officially postponed the upcoming D&D Fan Expo: London, pushing the massive O2 Arena gathering out of the 2026 calendar entirely. Originally scheduled to take over the Greenwich venue this August, the live celebration of the world’s oldest roleplaying game has been delayed by more than a year. Organisers have rescheduled the two-day convention to the 4th and 5th of September 2027.
