Sphingosine Kinases promote IL-17 expression in human T lymphocytes

To further exploit what we found in previous experiments on S1P/S1P kinases axis by gene expression array performed in human Th17 clones19,20, we compared the expression levels of SphK1 and SphK2 in human Th1, Th2 and Th17 clones by quantitative Real Time PCR analysis; as shown in Fig. 1A, both kinases were strongly up-regulated only in Th17 clones.
