Fresh from opening a store at the new Oakridge Park shopping centre in Vancouver, one of B.C.'s oldest retailers is expanding its footprint to new Canadian provinces. The Vancouver-based, 119-year-old Purdys Chocolatier is readying to open its first four stores in Canada's Maritime provinces: two in Nova Scotia and two in New Brunswick with all set to open in September. That would bring Purdys' store count to 88, and include its first stores east of Ontario.
