The flagship of eco-responsible products, La Bouche Rouge (€39, refillable upcycled leather case, €65) and Le Rouge Français (€45, Refill €25) have launched their refillable lipstick. Two brands that, with their biosourced cases, have gone to war against micro-plastic. “A refillable lipstick purchased brings 100 liters of water to families who lack it,” says La Bouche Rouge.

They’re called disks, pucks, pads or compresses (whichever word we prefer, the shorter) and they’re all the rage! In the wake of the Quickies™ (their ancestor) that bore their name so well, you can still find these handy on-the-go eye makeup remover discs at Mavala to remove any trace of “normal” or water-resistant makeup (Eye Makeup Remover Discs, 75 discs, €11.40), or Demak’Up Sensitive (Optimal Tolerance Eye Makeup Remover Discs, 30 impregnated cotton pads, €2.69).
