The Denver Nuggets are reportedly making a move to strengthen their roster and specifically their bench, as Shams Charania notes the Nuggets will sign Demar DeRozan to a one-year, $3.9 million deal. The Denver Nuggets are still stuck in a holding pattern with some of their bigger potential moves this offseason, but while they wait out the Peyton Watson situation they have made another move for a guard, as Shams Charania of ESPN is reporting that Denver has signed shooting guard Lonnie Walker. Lonnie Walker IV has agreed to a one-year, $3.3 million deal with the Denver Nuggets, agent George S. Langberg of @GSLSportsGroup told ESPN.

The Denver Nuggets came out playing the right way and finished that way too, defeating the Minnesota Timberwolves 101-82 in Game 2 of the Summer League schedule. In the middle they let the game get tied up again and even trailed briefly in the third quarter, but they closed the fourth with a flourish. New draftee Trevon Brazile did not play, as he reportedly got a shoulder strain in the first Summer League game.
