Worldwide, there is rapidly increasing use of soft tissue fillers for aesthetic purpose and as expected, the number of complications has increased, some of which are of high relevance to ophthalmologists. Vision loss is a rare but catastrophic complication of injected tissue fillers [1,2,3]. A literature review in 2015 identified 98 cases of vision compromise, which increased to 146 cases by 2018, and to 511 cases by March 2023 [2,3,4,5].
