1 Introduction Electrospinning is a versatile and highly efficient technique for the fabrication of nanofibers producing scaffolds and membranes for diverse applications in different fields including biomedicine, tissue engineering, environmental science, energy storage, sensors, electronics, textiles, optical applications, and advanced material sciences.[1-3] Figure 1 summarizes the list of potential applications of electrospun fibers.
