Residents of the Victoria Hill neighbourhood in New Westminster, British Columbia, have been receiving unsolicited Uber Eats deliveries for weeks, leaving many frustrated and confused. According to CBC News, dozens, if not hundreds, of food deliveries have been piling up on their doorsteps, with no indication of who ordered them. More than 30 deliveries were sent to Jennifer Hughes' townhouse in just one week, including two bottles of water and a single doughnut.

The Ontario government announced on Friday that Kiska, the final captive killer whale in Canada, had died. The theme park where Kiska had been residing informed the local government of the whale's passing. "The ministry was advised by MarineLand that the whale named Kiska passed away at MarineLand on March 9, 2023. A necropsy was conducted by professionals retained by MarineLand," Brent Ross, a spokesperson of the Canadian province's solicitor general ministry, said in an emailed statement.
