Pure Evoke Home All-in-one Music System Review & Comments
Greg Hook Moderator & Reviewer #2 For this sort of thing at this sort of money I heartily recommend the Teufel One M. I've had it's older incarnation the Raumfeld One M for several years. It doesn't have a CD player but it more than makes up for that with an excellent network playback engine so my digitised CD and stereo hidef library plays perfectly and it can go pretty damn loud before it starts to hit limitations.

Do I tell my new neighbours they are noisy?!
We (myself and my wife!) have some new neighbours (we live in a semi-detached. Us on one side, them on the other!) who have lived in their house for about 9 months. We are on friendly terms when we see them (its just two of them in the house - not married yet and don't have kids yet. They're a young couple.) - we generally only catch glimpses of each other every now again in the garden (we have friendly chats when we do!).

'Slipping' volume knob
#1 Hi all, I think is is probably a common problem but i'd like to know from you guys whether it's a simple fix. I've had my Yamaha RX-V620 AV receiver for many happy years, but recently the large volume control tends to slip, i.e. when i move the volume knob clockwise or anti-clockwise the volume doesn't change. I normally that get heavy handed with the volume and keep turning it round in circles till the volume goes up/down.

How reliable are smart pet feeders? Concerned about leaving my cat alone for a week.
#1 I'm considering getting a smart pet feeder (like this one), but I’m a bit nervous about relying on it while being away for an extended time. How reliable are these devices in the long term? Have you ever had issues with them failing to dispense food, especially when you weren’t around to check? Also, do any models offer real feedback, like confirming that food was actually dispensed or even indirect signs that your pet ate (e.g., weight tracking of the feeder)?

Has anyone fixed a non-functional key fob?
HMHB Outstanding Member #1 Today one of my car keys stopped working for my 2014 Seat Leon. I’ve tried 3 new batteries and it still isn’t sending anything when I press any of the buttons. My spare key still works fine thankfully as I’ve hardly ever used it, having used the main key 99% of the time during the 8 years I’ve had the car. Has anyone any experience of fixing such an issue? I’m wondering if overdoing the hand sanitiser before handling the key has caused the issue or if it’s just knackered.
Alien : Romulus Sequel (TBC)
Drax1 Outstanding Member #1 Alien Romulus box office projections are good, as is the general critical response, so now comes talk of the followup. Rewatching Lost
#1 So I've started watching Lost again. Only just into Series 3 so far but I've realised a few things that sort of let the series down. I think it's more to do with the way I/we think these days compared with even the early 2000s. There seems to be a lot of unwarranted actions - people doing things (or not doing things) for seemingly no reason other than to create drama or keep the series rolling.
