OZARK -- In his first two games this postseason, Duchesne senior pitcher TJ Griese was practically untouchable. He threw a perfect game against Montgomery County in the district championship game. He was one out from pitching a no-hitter against Fatima in the state quarterfinals. He had not lost a game all spring. But Thursday night, Griese had to face the Blair Oaks Falcons, who have been pulverizing the baseball for the past three weeks and were averaging 10.4 runs per game during that stretch.
