After back-to-back wins over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Chicago Bears, the Green Bay Packers (3-2) look to keep the good vibes rolling against Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys (2-3) Sunday night at Lambeau Field. In this week’s Kickoff Conversation, Greg Matzek and Alex Strouf dive into the Packers potential for success on the ground versus the league’s worst run defense, and how the Packers defense schemes to slow down the Cowboys potent offense.
Packers face Falcons with offensive line questions on short week
After back-to-back road games to begin the regular season, the Green Bay Packers (1-1) return home Thursday night looking to build on a come-from-behind overtime victory over the Jets in week-2. The Packers will take the field on a short week, without two-fifths of its preferred starting offensive line. Right tackle, Zach Bak-Bewele will miss the remainder of the season with a torn patellar tendon while left guard Aaron Banks will miss the game due to a toe injury.
Kickoff Conversation: Packers look to avoid 0-2 start against Jets
After allowing 22 points in the fourth quarter of a 39-22 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in week-1 of the regular season, the Green Bay Packers aim to bounce back against the New York Jets in week-2. It’s another road contest for a Packers team looking to avoid an 0-2 start.
Packers vs. Vikings: picks and what to watch
For the 7th time in the last 8 seasons, the Green Bay Packers begin the regular season on the road, taking on the Minnesota Vikings at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. Green Bay will be without starting running back Josh Jacobs who remains on the Commissioner’s Exempt List. Packers quarterback Jordan Love will carry a heavy burden in the passing game behind a newly arranged, and relatively inexperienced offensive line.

Two weeks after the terrorist attacks on September 11th, the NFL resumed its schedule with the Packers hosting the Washington Redskins on Monday Night Football. What you may not remember is the Packers dominant 37-0 win. What you most certainly remember is the sight of backup linebacker and Air Force reservist Chris Gizzi running out of the Packers tunnel waving the American Flag as part of the pre-game player introductions. “I took off. I was floating out there,” Gizzi tells WTMJ.
Murphy's Pocket Pancakes coming to American Family Field
MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Brewers are taking the concept of “pocket pancakes” to a new level. During a recent in-game interview on Apple TV, Brewers Manager Pat Murphy revealed his quirky habit of stashing food in the back pocket of his pants or front pocket of his Brewers hoodie. Roughly one week after Murphy’s in-game munchie habit went viral, and just in time for the homestand, the Brewers are launching “Murph’s Pocket Pancakes” at American Family Field.
Kon Kneuppel's stock rising as NBA Draft nears
Fifteen months ago, Kon Kneuppel was leading Wisconsin Lutheran High School to it’s first WIAA state basketball championship in ten years. Today, after a highly successful freshman season at Duke University, the 6’6″ guard is a projected lottery pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. “I’m not sure it’s fully sunk in for him or any of us,” Chari Nordgaard Kneuppel (Kon’s Mother) tells Wisconsin’s Midday News from midtown Manhattan.
PREDICTION: The Green Bay Packers 2025-26 regular season schedule
The complete 2025 NFL regular season schedule will be released on Wednesday, May 14th at 7pm central time. While certain games scheduled to air on certain networks or streaming services have already been revealed, the bulk of the schedule remains under wraps. My first attempt to predict the Packers schedule was in 2013 for reasons I’m still not quite sure of. Moreover, I’m not sure why I continue to subject myself to the agony associated with this exercise, but it’s become a bit of a tradition.
The Green Bay Packers 5 greatest draft picks of all time
For a franchise that has drafted 13 pro football hall of famers, selecting the top-5 all-time Packers draft picks is no easy task. In the 1940’s the draft had as many as 32 rounds. Today, the draft is a 7-round event in which 257 will be selected. My criteria for selection includes the following: Longevity in a Packers uniform, production, accolades, championships won and draft position. NOTE: Don Hutson would have been on this list, but he wasn’t drafted by the Packers.

Death threats, therapy and feeling like a failure. How Brandon Bostick has rediscovered a love for football ten years after a haunting mistake
With 2:09 left in the fourth quarter of the 2014 NFC Championship game in Seattle, the Packers clung to a 19-14 lead as the Seahawks lined up for an onsides kick. A relatively new face to the Packers “hands team”, tight end Brandon Bostick strolled onto the field and into “ready position”. Instead of carrying out his assignment to block a hard-charging member of the Seahawks, Bostick leaped for a ball heading directly towards the waiting arms of Jordy Nelson.

Sunday’s game will be a rematch of September 6 when the Packers lost to the Eagles 34-29 in Brazil. Healthy and rested after the bye, Packers aim to continue dominance over Bears
With 52 members of the 53-man roster participating in practice, it’s fair to say the bye week did the Packers a world of good as they look to continue their recent dominance over their NFC North Division rival. “Splitting up the season as close to in-half as possible – since we’ve got 17-game seasons now – I think it came at a really good time,” ESPN-Wisconsin’s Jason Wilde tells WTMJ. “You would expect Jordan Love (knee/groin) to be fully healthy or close to it.

Outlook unclear for Jordan Love for Sunday's battle for first place against the Detroit Lions
The good news is, the groin injury suffered by Packers Quarterback Jordan Love during Sunday’s win over the Jaguars doesn’t appear to be major. The potentially bad news is that Love may not be available for this Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions at Lambeau Field. ““Take it one day at a time and see where he’s at by the end of the week,” according to Packers Head Coach, Matt LaFleur following Wednesday’s practice in which Love did not participate.
