Boosting the growth kinetics of extra-large pore zeolite ZEO-1
Boosting the growth kinetics of extra-large pore zeolite ZEO-1 The first stable aluminosilicate zeolite with extra-large pores, ZEO-1, marks the great breakthrough in zeolite community after decades of exploration and endeavors, opening possibilities for processing bulky substrates. However, the long synthesis cycle and relatively low reproducibility hinders the wide application of this intriguing material.
Acidic medium synthesis of zeolites - an avenue to control the structure-directing power of the organic template
Acidic medium synthesis of zeolites – an avenue to control the structure-directing power of the organic template Guangying Fu, Eddy Dib, Qiaolin Lang, Haonuan Zhao, Songxia Wang, Ruiqin Ding, Xiaobo Yang and Valentin Valtchev Abstract This paper deals with the extension of the synthesis field of microporous zeolite-type materials and the type of organic structure-directing agents (OSDA) that can be used to promote their crystallization.
Isostatic Pressure Assisted Nanocasting Preparation of Zeolite Templated Carbon for High-Performance and Ultrahigh Rate Capability Supercapacitors
Increasing charge storage and fast charging capability is long standing challenge for supercapacitors. In this work, a novel, facile method of high isostatic-pressing assisted nanocasting has been developed to produce zeolite templated carbon (ZTC) with excellent supercapacitance performance. There is a strong positive correlation between isostatic pressure imposed on the carbon sourse with surface area, nitrogen doping and electrochemical property of ZTC material.
