Electrocardiographic changes in immune checkpoint inhibitor-associated cardiac injury: a narrative review
Review Article Electrocardiographic changes in immune checkpoint inhibitor-associated cardiac injury: a narrative review Shaqi Rao, Guangying Wang, Jinjing Wu, Jiawei Ouyang, Zhuoqi Liu, Xiaohong Yang, Daya Luo, Shuhua Zhang Abstract Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) are widely used in cancer treatment and have shown substantial clinical benefit. Although the incidence of ICI-associated cardiac injury is uncommon, such events may lead to severe complications and high mortality.
Virus-driven remodeling of the immune microenvironment and response to immune checkpoint inhibitors: the infection– immunity–cancer crosstalk
Abstract Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) have revolutionized the therapeutic landscape of diverse solid tumors; however, concurrent viral infections significantly influence their efficacy and safety profiles. By driving persistent antigen exposure, inducing T cell exhaustion, and remodeling the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment (TME), viruses extensively reconfigure tumor immune landscapes, leading to marked heterogeneity in responses to immunotherapy.
