Research and Development of a Specific CYP2E1 Inhibitor To screen of a CYP2E1 inhibitor, traditional virtual screening from compound libraries were conducted basing on the crystal structure of CYP2E1, which led to more than 100 potential compounds with a reasonable binding mode with CYP2E1 with low binding energy and high prediction score; however, none showed strong inhibition with high selectivity of CYP2E1 by in vitro inhibition experiments.
